The 2012 Festival

Mark your calendars for our festival on Sunday 25 March 2012. The festival is held on the fourth Sunday in March each year.

Subscribe to our newsletter (top right hand side of the webpage) to be the first to know what new and exciting things are planned for the festival.

We invite you to join us at the  festival, where you can taste the mouth-watering array of produce. All from our regions best gourmet food and wine producers. Bring a rug and picnic on the lawns of the historic Pirra Homestead.

FREE parking, FREE entertainment and FREE activities for children. 

Entry is by gold coin donation and you will receive a ticket in our prize draw. 

We have TWO dinner for two vouchers to give away. 

Prizes will be drawn at approximately 12 noon and 3:00pm.

Last Year's Festival

Thank you to all who attended the 2011 Lara Food & Wine Festival.

The festival proved once again to be a fun family day out.

With 66 exhibitors, from local producers Meredith Dairy, The Fudge Man, La Madre Bakery to 13 boutique wineries, patrons enjoyed an array of taste sensations.

An estimated 10,000 people attended the festival, hosted by the charismatic television presenter and Celebrity chef Gabriel Gaté.

Many festival goers enjoyed the live music, while munching on the gourmet produce from exhibitors. Thank you to the Lara community for supporting the event.
