Last Year's Festival
Thank you to all who attended the 2011 Lara Food & Wine Festival.
The festival proved once again to be a fun family day out.
See the Channel 31 news segment of the festival. Click here (beginning 4 minutes, 20 seconds into the programme).
With 66 exhibitors, from local producers Meredith Dairy, The Fudge Man, La Madre Bakery to 13 boutique wineries, patrons enjoyed an array of taste sensations.
An estimated 10,000 people attended the festival, hosted by the charismatic television presenter and Celebrity chef Gabriel Gaté.
Many festival goers enjoyed the live music, while munching on the gourmet produce from exhibitors. Thank you to the Lara community for supporting the event.
To see photographs from the day, and perhaps even spot yourself, visit the photo gallery.
The organising committee would like to extend a special thank you to our sponsors and to the many volunteers and community groups who generously gave their time. Their help made the festival such a success.
